The California Agricultural Export Council (CAEC) is a non-profit organization that works with California-based agricultural associations to market and promote California food products. Coordinating activities closely with the US Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service, CAEC manages activities in selected markets worldwide. Activities either focus on the promotion of individual products, or generic “California” activities which leverage the “California Image.”

Chilean Representation Required - Monday, April 25, 2011
The California Agricultural Export Council is seeking a Chilean company to administer a U.S.-Chile project in Chile utilizing U.S. ingredients in baked goods, snack foods, and confectionery products. The project entails developing and successfully carrying out and reporting on focus groups and technical seminars on the use of various high-value ingredient products from the U.S. in local products, and their subsequent sale to Chilean retail establishments. It is anticipated that the project will last for a period of approximately six months, through the end of 2011.
"Substantive reporting on progress and evaluation of results will be required. Experience and expertise in project management and agricultural foods and knowledge of the Chilean retail sector especially as regards high-value and specialty products are required. Knowledge of ingredients in a variety of specialty food products is preferred. The company will report directly to the project manager in the United States and be responsible for scheduling and supervising technical seminars, focus groups and production of advertising materials.
